Horrbile on gas, might as well get a 1/2 ton. Shit rear ends. Interiors are cheap. Some have electrical and/or 4x4 issues.
Thats funny on the forum it says ball joints, wheel bearing, and tranny problems, apparently the V8 ones have the strongest tranny. I know its not gonna get the best gas mileage, where did you get your info?
Working the auctions the past 3 years and the same things I have to fix on these shit boxes. I wanted one too unit I had to deal with them. Trannies are good but I’ve seen too many rear ends and t-cases go under 100k

get a jeep. mindless’s jeep is serious bang for the buck, if you look into the money it costs to do the mods on it. 4.0 ho motors will go 300k + with the proper maitnence.

Yeah i really like that the 4.0s are very reliable, I guess there is a certain year they had bad blocks though that crack, they were made weak?

very few of the 2000 year cherokees had a head cracking issue. Most people did not have the issue tho.
