i started repainting the interior pieces today. they are turning out very good.

hey man do u need any parts?? my buddy has a 79 or 80 (cant remember) malibu but anyways he was talking selling it. he started to restore it and then the gf got in the way so its been sitting but he has a ton of new parts… let me know if u need anything ill see what he wants to do with it… maybe buy the whole thing off of him lol

changed my a-arms with another stock set that i painted and put new ball joints in. also is a picture of the perfect trunk lid i acquired by trading the header panel. now i kinked my fuel line from pump to carb when i changed the fuel filter. next on my to-do list is get it back on the ground and change the valve cover gaskets and oil.

eh, it will get degreased this winter when v6 comes out. i just want to drive a car again.

finally back on the ground! i got all the old frozen e-brake cables out and started putting the new ones in. still looking for a header panel for 1980-1981 malibus and el caminos, and a core support for '78-'81.

good news, got my header panel and core support. no pics yet, im still fixing the one crack in the header. now all i have to do is put the front end back on and its ready to go. who would inspect it without a smog pump? i’m asking because the previous owner decided to remove it.
