Well decided to do some changes this winter. Not quite sure where this is headed right now. Basicly update the interior, new cage, tin, seat, carpet, etc. Also get the car safer and ready to go faster. Here are some pictures from racing this year and some before shots.
Replacing all the bars with chromoly. Moving the front bars ahead and going with an aluminum dash. Adding a funnycar cage as well with some X-braces to the doors. Also adding a parachute mount. Not planing on building anything at the moment engine wise. My engine now has 700 passes on the pistons, bore, rods. The holes are getting a little big and are goin to need to be opened up a little. Its at 468 cubic inches now. I may just bored it another 10, and maybe add a little stroke with a new crank. But I just put a new Eagle crank in it 70 passes ago. So after I get this engine freshened up after next year I plan on a 540 or 555.
cool! what are you running in the 1/4 currently? i’ve seen your car before i just never seen it run, and if i did last week, the lights werent working and i didnt hear it announced
I went out last weds for TnT. @ time trials ran 9.769 Then 2 rounds in the gamblers race 9.766. -.001 red in the 2nd round though  Car has run 9.69 at 135mph with a 1.276 60’
No that has to be with the fronts. I do think sometimes my car hops over the 60’ timers. I sometimes get 1.30’s and other times 1.35’s with the same times from the 330’ on.
Nope the car is how you see it in the las pictures. No rear floor, electrical or fuel system. I decided to hang it up for this year cause it needed new slicks.
i wont be out again for alittle while. waiting for my new wheel/tire combo to come in and then gotta get those tires worn in abit. probly 3 weeks till i get out agian
a real man would race that thing on pep boys tires
lol i just noticed something… in the pics where he’s lifting the front wheels, look around at the peoples faces and see how many have their jaws dropped :bowrofl:
Well the last 2 nights we have been cutting the old cage out and grinding down the old mounting points. Got the main hoop bent up tonight also. Tomorrow will continue with cutting out some of the factory brackets and misc things that are not needed.
