if they launch 2 cars every minute(i expect more), thats 120 cars an hour for 5 hours. total of 600 launches for 50 cars. thats 12 per car if only 50. but like i said they want 100 cars if its an open event. which helps us cuz if we only get 40 people the event can still carry on.
i believe jays05 (gt35r sti) ran at a track rental last year or year before and got like 20+ runs in… just as a general ideal… now compare that to a normal test n tune where u get 3-5 runs in…tops… worth it for the $70 no doubt
Still better than last year, when I was there for 3 or 4 hours, and only got two runs in on my bike, that was money well spent.
As long as you get average 4x the amount of runs with 4x the price, I do not see an issue with people going. The price and runs are in direct correlation, but it saves you time going all in one trip and with possible trophys thats even more enticing.
ive put down 8+ passes in a day before with erics car on a test and tune sunday before. i think this is more about a local competition than runs per say.
Where do we get the money for Trophies/Prizes? do we up the normal track rental fee for competing? How many will spend 5-10 more bucks in hope to win something?
I’ll hunt down sponsors for the event that would cover the cost of trophys so we won’t pass the cost down to the people attending. This is why I said possible, because at this point in time it’s impossible to know how many sponsors we would get.
The 80$ fee is covering everything like the CC fee and Tax.
I myself would show up, not sure if I would run tho cause my cars a POS but I can easily gather 10 of my car buddies that will deff. show up with me and to run.
