I want to add a new prize… For Fastest Tuner/Builder. I want to see a private owner win the prize but also dont want to leave Synapse, Red Line, Moon, and EPL and for safety I think it should be anything goes including slicks for 1st place but cars must be registered and driven to the event with the exception being the tuner/builder cars. Sponsors get one free car entry. any opinions/suggestions?
If youre registered and dont have the proper safety equipment there will not be a refund. Make sure you print out the NHRA rules on safety and follow them
the “free” sponsored car must be payed for to LVD just to let you know. if they pay for a sponsorship package im guessing the cost will cover that expense though…
Yeah Im aware… On the plus side… we got that one free car for so many cars thing so that should cover the sponsorers ;D

If you do not have a dyno graph, and your motor is near stock your OEM hp will be used. If it’s modified in a way that would affect enough, and no dyno… sorry.
If you want to be the designated judge? It would be very objective to pick those two, so I’d need somebody to volunteer and be non objective.

What will the “sponsor” packages include for the companies? If they sposnor the event for $x amount, what do they get to show for it? Trying to work this out with Moon and EPL.
Whoa whoa whoa, I just read through the thread and it sort of got out of hand even figuring out who’s in charge.
From what I understood this is a Shift518 and Synapse joined non for profit event. Mike (hybrdthry911) representing Synapse and me representing Shift518. Jowawh, since it seems like you want to be a big part of this, PM me and we’ll get in touch to discuss this.
I can advertise for the event that’s not a problem, I’ll take care of talking to sponsors, getting more sponsors. Justin I’ll talk to you as soon as I get your number of Cossey.Classes will be decided here, while an attendance list will be made in another thread.
Sponsor packadge will include their name being in all the advertising for the event as a sponsor (web and print), priority at the event. The free car seems redundant since sponsorship is provided with money, and if they donate less then a cost of entry and we cover the difference, there is no point of the sponsor. If they have to cover more than the cost, than we got to have something thats really benefitial in the packadge. I’d like to talk to potential sponsors personally.
All sponsorship money will go to setup the event, get trophys, provide food (provided that it’s allowed by LVD) and anything else, since this is a non for profit event.
it might take sometime to put together sponsorship packages. this just started yesterday there is still a lot of organization needed.
I’d do it if I could guarantee that I’d be there, but I can’t make that call yet.
