my old neighbor has 545,000 on his 97 f-150 still kicken. since he stopped drivin it everyday its starting to make some creeks and rattles. original motor. original tranny went out at 100K and the rebuilt one has been there since.
expidition a guy has at work has 373k and runs like new
this is true you would never knkow there was that many miles on it. still runs like a champ
My dad used to work on a 1995 Blazer for a guy, He put 540k on it before it smoked a head gasket. The tranny was replaced once, the rearend 3 times, but other than regular maintenance items that was all. Once it smoked a head gasket, he started having all kind of problems with it. I think it was junked with 545k on it.
