Sextacular  How’s the offset gonna look, fill out the fenderwells?
I put in 12 hours this weekend and have nothing interesting to report on mine. Although I will be shooting out to look at paint chipping some color pretty soon.
Interior work commenced yet? Get going before hyper289 gets on yo’ case!

I actually got probably 12-14 hours in this weekend. But honestly little (yet important) stuff. But I am pissed off about 1 thing. I set up to use the Taurus fan and there is a clearance issue. You need 4.5" to run the Taurus fan, and with a big block and a long neck water pump, you get 3.5 inches of room. So I need to find a way to trim and modify to get that extra needed inch. If not, I got to spend a few hundred on a new electric fan I didn’t see anything online about the clearance issue. And most big blocks used a long neck water pump. To switch to a short, I’d have to switch over most of thr brackets I had to hunt for and move the alternator to the driver side. Sucks! :bloated:
But I did get all the pulleys mounted and lined up. Alternator is on. And I ran 50% of the engine compartment wiring. I’m going to try and finish up that this week and also under the dash. Got some new stuff I have to add into the electrical.
I’ll post more pics in a few days, and pics of the new tires on as soon as we have another dry day
OK, ok… got them home today… Put 2 of them on for looks
It was dark out by the time I got them on, and I just beat the rain.
And yes, I have the pass side tires on the driver side. If you caught that, you get a cookie. The wheels are coming back off, but I wanted to see how they looked The back end has to get dropped a bit also. And the front end hasn’t settled yet.
And just for reference, this is what I used to have [xx(]
Car looks great, you say it hasnt settled, how far will it drop still? I cant image all that far. IMO it needs another 3" of drop

I put a big block and 2" drop springs in the front. There is probably 100lbs of stuff to go under the hood and then the springs right now are really tight. They say in time it will drop.
If that doesn’t change it enough, maybe I’ll add drop spindles. As long as it won’t rub.
ive seen cars settle several inches after some time with new drop springs. it should come down more
looks great! i agree though…i think it needs to come down a bit more all around…not 3"…but a little. maybe its just the night pics that are making it look higher or something…
time to start cutting coils!
edit: nvm…after further review…after settling, it will be right on…in the front anyway…rear is hard to tell…its the second pic thats screwing with me…actually makes it look like the wheels stick out to the side too…but the other pic after shows that they dont…deceiving lol
I can drop the rear a couple of inches with the shackles. That’s going to happen. I haven’t got to measure everything yet. Just wanted to see how they looked
oh i know…looks great though…perfect choice in wheels!!
Lookin sharp
