As for the engine, I’m keeping it secret for now, but a few close guesses. If any of you know Lenny Plewniak, he’s building the motor again for me. He changed my mind a few times, but way back when I said I wanted a Camaro done this way, and this time I am doing it that way.
The car will still look like a 69 Z/28. It’s originally a 6 cylinder Camaro, so I don’t care for originality. It will have old school looks with a few modern updates.

i meant period correct for 1969 where the 302 was the stock engine in the Z/28 in 1969.
The car isn’t a real Z/28. It’s a 6 cylinder 3 speed car. The motor was a nicely built crate motor done up like a 302 with some 70 LT1 2.02 fuelie heads. That motor is going back to Lenny and already found a car to get dropped into.
The car is going to look like a Z/28, but will proudly represent a sleeper. it will run better than a DZ :) I wanted to go with a COPO or Yenko look (and components), but I like the Z/28 look too much to do so.

The 302 was just picked up by Lenny. And he told me the new motor is being built as we speak
thats the hotness… hope it turns out spectacular for ya! (and it will, 69 camaros > all!!)
My baby is naked. Jessie from blast Off emailed me some pics of the progress from today. He said it should be all finished Monday or Tuesday to go to the body shop.
