Sweet!
Looks like you had another roof welded on the car, another then that the body looks pretty good.
can’t wait to see it all finished up man! to doing restorations the right way.
Actually that is a factory seam. The rear area between the roof and the quarter was known for the filler needed to smooth it out.
There are few spots that need attention, but it will be worth it.
My dad and I did the restoration ourself over 10 years ago. I hate doing bodywork, so hence having a shop do it for me.
I’ll reassemble since I have done it 5 times already and can do that in my sleep
wow, making some quick progress on this! looking good
If you don’t mind can you post or PM the cost of the paint work when its finished?
Wow, that is awesome, good luck on the finished product…!
More pictures from the soda blast. It’s almost done and will be heading to the body shop on Friday.
I met my motor today
:word: lookin good
My Camaro was spared getting picked up in the tornado. It was just getting loaded onto the flatbed and the first drop of rain came. Massive downpours the entire way back to Tonawanda. As soon as it came off the trailer, the rain stopped and the sun came out. WTF.
Moved it from the soda blaster in the tornado to the paint shop.
Soda blasting it is probably one of the best things that could have been done for prep. No aircraft stripper than can come back to haunt you late and no harsh abrasives.   to Jesse from Blast Off.
I think I may have to hate you.
it’s nothing personal.
well, okay, maybe just a little.
yeah, just a little.
That’s OK Hey there are a few out there for sale that you can do the same thing on. I have owned this one for I think 13 years and got it when it was cheaper. Then again, I have and am put a lot of $$$ into it.
I really want to drive it later this season. Badly!
I’'m going to the paint shop tomorrow to check it out and post more pics tomorrow.
I really can’t wait to see this car done, all the work and money will be so well worth it!
7/10 update:
I took some more pictures today. They are going to powerwash the underbody and interior of the car tomorrow and resume the metal work.
I now have a gallery for the progress. Page 3 shows todays pics:
