I think that is it. If I remember more, I’ll update it. Now on to the bad shit. As we all know, every car has its problems.

The transmission kind of sucks. My buddy used the car for about a year. During the time he had it, he replaced the timing belt and the factory clutch. The clutch was done at 111k. He didn’t know he had to do the tob release fork, so now third grinds when you downshift or if you shift up quickly at part throttle. WOT, it is fine. So, here is the good part. I have another transmission I bought and had rebuilt. New syncros, shift forks, etc. it has no miles on it, and has a billet 3/4 shift fork and a billet agp shift selector. Also, the current transmission has a pwerks 3rd gear shift extender that can be transfered into the new one. The new one will come with the car, but I have to go back to mobile to pick out up.

The sunroof is broken. Actually, I used to open and close it on the interstate all the time. After a few years of that, I guess the plastic gears in the cheap little motor gave. So, I manually closed it and disconnected the switch. I will replace the sunroof motor before you pick it up.

The back passenger door will not lock or unlock electronically. I have always just locked it manually. I have never looked into it, but I attribute it to a faulty actuator. I may or may not fix it. It doesn’t really bother me.

So, that’s about it. Any valid request for information is understandable, and I will accommodate you as best as I can. I live in Franklinville, NY now. Anyone interested can come check her out in person any weekend. Possibly a weekday, but sometimes I work out of town Monday through Friday. She has never seen a harsh winter, and she never will while I own her. If she doesn’t sell within a month or so, I am going to just build her over the winter. A guy I met at the gym recommended this site, and said I would receive a warm welcome here. 342hp/354tq on 23psi, 401hp/412tq on 29psi and a good bit off 118 octane from the local track mixed in with 1/4 tank of 93. Done on a Dynojet dyno at 90 degrees or so. Sorry, but I don’t have sheets to back it up.

Sorry for the novel. You can text me anytime at (251) 401-0692. My name is Chris. Thanks for looking.

price, clean title?

Price is in the title, $7500

Yes, it has a clean title. Thank you for bringing that up. I forgot to mention, it still has a leinholder. J.M. and Associates Federal Credit Union in Mobile. I put 7500 for the price, so that I can have a little extra gas money to go pick up the transmission for any potential buyer. If someone has the cash available immediately, I can get a payoff that is good for 10 days. It would probably be about $500 cheaper. Possibly more, but I can’t remember exactly what is on it. If I did that, though, the buyer would have to either pay shipping for the transmission, or give me some time to go get it. All of my tools, along with the car I’m building for my son, are still in Alabama. So, I already planned on a trip back. I just don’t have the spare cash right now.

Like I said, though, feel free to shoot me a text if you are interested. I may not be able to answer, but you are welcome to call, also. If you don’t leave a voicemail, though, I won’t be calling back.

Easing into it, and granny shifting so that you can see the spool up time. I kind of need it gone before snowfall. Anyways, I’ll put a direct link below, in case the above doesn’t work.

Well, I was way off. Credit union said $6300 will pay it off. That’s a damn big price drop, I think. I really thought I owed more on it. I need it gone before the end if the month. Anyone that will pay it off can pick it for that price. I might be able to work out something with you around that price, but that is what is owed. I know someone wants this car. Text or call me at the number in the first post.

Wow what a great deal. Someone definitely needs to pick this up. wish i could.

welcome to the site

thats one good deal! wish i could get it from ya!

Thanks. It isn’t a bad deal at all. I could do 6k, and I’ll cover the other 300, if someone wants that. You will just have to give me time on going to get your transmission. I know someone wants it. It would be a great winter build project for someone. The aftermarket for these is ridiculously large.

  • Christopher

damn i kind of want this!

I can trailer it down for you, and you can pick it up in mobile. That’s like 12 hours from you, I think. Plus, you can go ahead to the credit union with me and swap everything. And you can pick up the transmission and stock parts while you are there. If you do 6500, I’ll meet you a little closer, but only if you are serious. I’m going to try to get some more pics up tomorrow.

Wish I saw this before I got mine. I wouldn’t mind getting my hands dirty to save some $$.

I don’t care if he drives it or not. Hell, just buy it. Lol. Besides, everyone knows Mopar>SLP(or any chevy). And, let the war ensue…

13’s out of the box and 2004-2005’s have LSD  Neons get a lot of hate but SRT4’s are beast mode.

I have the transmission here with it in Franklinville, now.
