'87-'89 Chevy 350

I found a '87-'89 Chevy 350 for $300 to go into my '78 Malibu Wagon…
This engine is fuel injected and wondering if I should retain it, or change it over to carb. A harness to retro fit is $300+/- a intake and carb will be the same if not more.
Soo, let me know guys! I need a lil guidence on my lil project.

I’m assuming this is a TPI setup. If so you might as well keep it.

sorry I didnt mention…I was in a hurry.

Its a TBI as far as I know. I go look at it tomarrow. Its out of a pickup truck.

Does anyone know if this has Vortec heads, or if its roller or flat tappet lifters, any other info. I want to put a cam, chain, lifters, and then maybe intake and Demon carb so then its done and ready to go since I keep blowin up the GP enginesss.

Also, I might look into that DYI MegaSquirt. I’ve read about a few guys that put it on there cars and love it.

I don’t thin kthey are going to be vortec heads. If it’s TBI you might as well do up the carb idea. I don’t think it would have a roller cam either. But I could be wrong.
