looks good chris
Looks good man! Got any suspension mods?
POS…it was funny. We both blew up our first motors with in a week of each other!
I cant wait till we can make a all out run with full boost!

I absolutely love it. There is not another car out there (within my financial means!) that I would spend the money on for 2 motors after the first one let go! I cant get enough of the rotary engine and when I switched from N/A to boost, there is no turning back for me now. It looks like you have an N/A, I loved my N/A. As I said earlier, running it at the track I was putting down 15.1’s with it and only bolt-ons. Let me know if you need any parts or info. I would be glad to help out.

Yup, after you kept beating me by a half a car or so, I was either going to have to go the hard way (full bridge port, ITB’s, ect.) or the easy way, BOOST! Obviously I opted for the boost, cheaper and alot more fun in the long run. After I get my turbo back from the rebuild, I will have to let you know so we can make a run at the valley. I am looking at about 300-325 rwhp with everything that I have done and tuned.

Only minor ones, KYG struts and Racing Beat springs for s stiffer ride and slight lower to them.
pics are kinda small, but it looks good! welcome
i can’t tell the condition of the paint click my sig if you’d like your paint to look kinda like this
Thanks for the info, but at the moment it would not be a good investment for me to have it detailed cause it is going to be painted this summer. After that, it will be all yours! BTW, the detail jobs on those cars look really good.
your car kicks the shit out of codys, nice dude looks sick, nice rim choice too
Thanks. I am thinking about having the rims either powder coated or painted matte black or bronze. I haven’t decided yet.
-Here is a vid of the car as an N/A
-Here is a vid of the car as a TII (the first turbo’d motor I grenaded!)
turboII is one of my fav cars of all time. nice ride.
Needs moar LS1
No no. If I wanted more LS1 I would have bought a Vette or Camaro! Nah, I am more than happy with the setup I have. Once tuned it will be even better. Plus from what I have read, that swap is expensive, and if price is not an option I would swap a 20B into it.
One more if statement if I may, if I were to do a V-8, it would be the 454 4 bolt main block that I have sitting in my garage!
Make sure you keep your blown motors.
they are wicked easy to rebuild and usually you can do it within a day or so
If I had done the proper upkeep on the N/A motor, I would have realized that the in block oil injector line somehow go kinked and was not feeding oil to the rear combustion chamber. Apex seals went dry and blew up the rear rotor and housing.
The first turbo motor I had, the secondary butterfly valves opened by hand when checked upon disassembly. When they were in the car, they did not open all the way, plus I had a boost leak from the compressor housing to the wastegate, therefore the wastegate never opened/fully opened cause boost was in excess of 15#'s, and pop, there goes number 2!
This one I have spared not expense on in trying to get everything right, hence why it is not on the road as of yet. I am going to make sure that everything is perfect prior.
I still have both, but they are both going to need new rear rotors, housings and possible irons depending on how bad the seal gouged everything.
You ever had an RX-7, or rotary motor?
No. I have been friends with two people who owned turbo II’s however and have seen them blow a motor and have the car running again in less than 3 days
ya there fairly cheap to work with to,rebuilds n such. some day i will get my t2. DAMN APEX SEALS!!! lol.

Someday when I am feeling frisky and get the rear housing and rotor I will contact you and your friends for some advice on the rebuild.
