They only have 4 injectors 1000CC * 4 = 4000CC Similiar to 6XXCC injectors for us which is normal for those making 600-700AWHP. He has plenty of room. :slight_smile:

just an fyi, if you have gas in your oil… there is something seriously wrong with the motor…

only thing that should be in your oil is…oil…

ummm whoever told you its easier to tune larger injectors is smoking pole also… the larger the injector the harder it is to control the vehicle at idle and light throttle input. the pulse width gets touchy and thus makes for an erratic amount of fuel entering the cylinders… i have 850cc’s in the subaru… trust me, i know… dont go bigger than you HAVE to…

That’s not entirely true. A drop of gas really makes a strong smell. If the oil viscosity is like water because gas is in it, that’s a problem. It might not be the motor. A bad tune can cause this to happen too.

Without throwing a local under the bus, he tuned his AEM to 12AFR during cruise. :slight_smile:

I got about 2X stock without problem. I’ve heard plenty of people say it’s harder to get the car to idle with the bigger injectors but I assume it wouldn’t be an issue with some of the better piggybacks or AEM? I agree though. Get injectors to match your setup. I can’t even count the # of 300-400AWHP 3/S with a 700AWHP injectors. Ridiculous when a lot don’t even have timing control.

Just an update…ABS and power stering eliminated and passenger side has no more tar ;D

driving a car with no power steering sucks. abs is a saftety feature i would not want to rid of.

ABS hardley ever works in my year teg…Power stering isnt hard to drive with if you car weighs 2000 pounds

Agreed, I’m also removing p/s and abs. My car didn’t come with a p/s pump and the ABS works sometimes and doesn’t work other times… so instead of spending the money to fix them I’m just removing the extra bulk. I barely notice a difference without p/s.

my p/s pump never worked so im use to useing some force…even at a stand still you can still use one arm :banana

i drove a 2300 lb old gli with no ps and it was easy but it was still a bitch… then i jumped in my other car ahhhhhh ps is soooo nice.

its nice to have but i dont want or need it

I have p/s and its such a luxury, i don’t think it takes too much power that your going to be like wow my car is slow…p/s ftw.

ya, ive thought about it too, i want it more than to add .03hp and im keepin a/c too, so while all you guys are sweatin in the summer, ill be nice and cool… plus it dosnt make any difference weight to power wise

I had to eliminate A/C in the K20 because it wouldn’t fit :sad but i don’t care too much the T/A doesn’t have it either so i’m used to it…windows down alllll the timeee :cool

no a/c or power steering in my jetta. removed both, and it does make a difference pulling it in any car. your removing a bunch of weight in an already heavy spot.
