91MR2 buys a Mitsusquishy?

Nah…I tried being a fanboy, but it topped out at 140 last night, and I had to to get 2 of the big bottles. My interest is lost now.

And I am slowly on my way out…certain things need to be finalized first…

F the Eclipse, post a pic of the Lotus. Last time I saw one was in Toronto-yellow one and it sounded good.

Happy now?

I’m always happy

Wow that’s a lot of work to still be slow.

Joseph…why…i would have sold you my car

i’m so glad you joined the DSMers Joe!! nice DD

Holy Shit, super clean and a very rare paint code!

According to the DSM database its “femininity fuschia” :stuck_out_tongue:

OH NOES!!! good luck with the wheel bearings, if the axles come out at all… Also check your curved control arms they are a warrantied item under a recall for bad ball joints.

LOL <3

We should drink sometime.

My 420a talon wasn’t really too bad of a car. It was the equivalent of the RS and I converted to rear disc brakes which was nice. Never got around to installing a rear sway bar though. Great MPGs, reliable, and shifted really nice as long as you only used the correct mopar trans fluid.

The only difference between the RS and GS is that the RS has drum brakes, no rear sway bar, non-split folding rear seat, black mirrors and door handles, along with no sideskirts. If it was my car I would probably at least try to convert it to a GS, but that’s cool that you like that it’s a base model.

So did you properly take care of the headgasket issue these cars have? The only way to keep them from leaking from the head is to have the surfaces machined, and an MLS HG installed properly with new head bolts. Otherwise the problem will persist.

I know. lol, it was my first car. I learned alot from it.

He was joking, they’re fine. They’re just loud tires.

There’s no FUCKING way that’s happening…

Ok, I only mentioned it because the way I see it the car accels in 2 areas: looks and handling. If you plan to own it for a while, why not spend less than $100 and improve both?

I wasn’t trying to be a dick, just emphasizing that it was a ton of work just to get this car going, and now that it’s all back to stock and clean (AEM intake aside), I’m just going to drive it. When I sell it, I’ll leave that discretion to the new owner.

UPDATE! The car just made it’s maiden voyage to NYC 2 days ago! It ran absolutely perfect, 80 MPH on cruise pretty much the whole way with the A/C cranking most of the time, and the tunes going through my new JVC KD-R310. Not one hiccup! Veddy nice, how much?

All dsm’s are reliable, most owners are not…take care of her and she will take care of you. That is by far on of the cleanest 2gs in the area, lucky for you I had to pass on it.

For the record, this is not a DSM. DSM ended in 1995, this is a 1998!

Car looks great cleaned up. Glad you have a nice looking daily driver now
