Nah, wasn’t me. I just put this car on the road for the first time last week. It was most likely Jon, a fellow EGTR owner from one of my Mazda forums.
She’s originally from North Carolina. I bought it off a guy from a Mazda forum over in CT. He had it shipped up from NC several years ago and never drove it in the winter. GT’s are extremely rare in general, so finding this salt-free beauty in the NorthEast was a miracle.
I’ll say! I’ve been looking out for a GT shell for years and of the few I’ve located for sale they’re either rotted/hacked chassis or pristine OE cars that owners want an assload for them.
Sick car. Don’t ever sell it.
Only thing I would change is the muffler… a nice 3" straight thru stock looking Borla or Magnaflow would be my choice to keep the sleeper appearence.

Thanks! My dad used to have an '89 PGT turbo (F2T) and a '96 PGT (KLDE). I wish I could have bought the '96 off him. A KLZE swap would have been perfect for a daily driver. Then again, I could always drop a KLZE in my other EGT or even an MX3. The mx3 k8de/k8ze engine has always intriqued me.
Sweet build dude, very nice! Break-ins are frustrating, aren’t they? Im still breaking in my clutch, def. puts a damper on things haha.
