option 2 is sweet
Agreed^ I have never seen that before.
Dual V8 swap next:
Penismobile.
^^LOL spitting image:
That fastback hardtop is awful.
The bikini top looks like the bimini top for my boat. If all you want is shade on a sunny day I suppose it would work just fine.
Looks like a good build. I’d like to try my hand at one of these.
really?
Don’t know why people are hating on that fastback top, I think it looks way better than the normal hard top. It reminds me of the Spoon s2k roof. Basically It looks like a Miata coupe, which Mazda should have started making in like 1992.
I agree. I like that hardtop. It’s different.
Probably because the spoon top looks fantastic on the S2k and this looks like someone tried to replicate it for a miata and got the entire car too close to a heat gun.
I def. liked the Miata coupe concepts…not sure if they ever made production models though…maybe just for the JDM market?
^ That’s promising. Too bad the one posted earlier is never going to look like this one.
I definitely like those lines…
I love slammed miata’s with a stock hardtop. Looks soooo good. Just do that.
New steering rack / hub / swaybar should all be in next week.
New Nose bushing for the diff in the coming weeks.
To do list isn’t too long.
Had to bleed my slave yesterday - I think its getting air in and is going to need replacing.
Also. Still attempting to devise an air intake.
Recently a few people have done this.
AirRaid Intake
LS7 Intake (removes the front bumper support)
Would have to replace my latch with aerocatch latches and for some options make my bumper look like this
Currently wondering if I can hack up and LS7 intake and use a filter like the AirRaid filter to make it short enough. Might not get enough air/fit.
Other than that.
Only other plans are paint/bikini top and rollbar. Maybe some fancy exhaust tips and interior bits.
Missing: heaters.
I need to get a look at this think in person. Great project.
That looks great. Almost like a baby MX-6 (not a bad thing).
