Hi, I’m selling my project car after three years of ownership.
The Car: Rebuilt Title
1995 240sx LE with 200 XXX km
5 speed (converted from auto)
It has ABS/VLSD
Sunroof
5-lug
Anti-Roll bars
Cloth interior (swapped from an SE)
Lowered on Eibach (Pro-Line?) about an inch
Short shifter (rattles past 3000rpm)
Sony Xplod deck with JBL’s
Notables:
The transmission synchro for second gear is worn out and grinds if you don’t time your shifts
unfinished paintjob.
Missing spare tire
Missing interior trim piece around shifter and stereo.
Exhaust system is rattling
The big question: frame rails
Frame rails are in really good condition, I’m going to go and take some pictures once my camera is charged up.
All in all the condition of the car rust wise is really good. Makes for a good project car.
I hope I have covered everything. I’m looking for a quick sale…we can’t pay for insurance and parking for much longer so the quicker the better.
I’m replacing the front brakes right now but waiting on parts…but once I get the parts, test drives will welcome.
I’ve already went to check this car out, its going to need a lot of work. A nice heads up before a test drive would be to let the person know your rear calipers are not in tact and have been removed to change rotors. I nearly couldnt stop in the underground parking lot.
This car needs a lot of work, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone except as a parts car.
P.S: You should try to post it as a parts car, that way your mom doesn’t have to keep showing the car to people.
My 0.02, may get in trouble for this, but you really didn’t list all the issues with the car.
I also took this car for a drive, it would have been nice if somebody told me there were no brakes on the car before the test drive!
very true, parts car for sure…your mom was pretty cool tho! haha
