I really do not think so,i would think it was replaced at some point.

The car had a full tune up not long ago.New AC Delco platnum spark plugs and new wires.I have documents to prove this and for the other work that has been done to the car.

I used to own this car, the previous owner replaced the opti around 2003 and around 125k-ish

I had the plugs and wires done and it has new brakes all the way around, rotors, calipers, pads ect

The car aside from a little cosmetic wear and tear is very tight and is a great daily driver!

also the car has newer ball joints, and drivers side exhaust from the cat back, it will pass NYSI with flying colors any day of the week

Plus I have tons of spare 9c1 parts should someone need something!

Precisely but i have negative funds right now.

This is a damn good car and i’ll miss it very much.

This car is basicly the same thing as a Impala SS just a “Heavy duty” version. The PCM reprogram made a very nice difference too

Heavy duty features include full perimeter steel frame, oversized front and rear sway bars, full, high-output alternator, lifetime-rated green silicone coolant hoses, four-wheel disc brakes, HD steel wheels and speed-rated tires, separate engine, power steering and transmission oil coolers, certified digital speedometer, stiffer body mounts and more of them, true dual exhaust, anti-stab steel plates in the front seat backs, performance 3.08 final drive ratio, extra wiring for the emergency equipment. The 260 hp/330ft·lb cast-iron-head, Sequential-multiport fuel-injected, reverse-cooled, Corvette-derived LT1 5.7L(350ci) V8 was a popular option for these final years and helped make the '94-'96 9C1 Chevrolet Caprice Classic one of the best-regarded police cars in US history

That thing is hot!! Does the spotlight work? Does the PCM flash require higher than 87 octane?

No the spotlight does not work, its mainly for looks.Plus i messed up when installing it.The ticket light inside the car works though.

I did not opt for the higher octane tune.Higher octane fuel cost to darn much lol.It runs on regular gas.

spotlights are cheap, $20-$50 will buy you one online , besides all the wiring is there already, plus the fuse panel has a Aux row to run extra stuff, and a 140 alternator
