1995 Caprice Classic

Clean Title
This would make a great winter beater for someone if they feel like replacing the heater core and the tires. Could certainly use new shocks, and the front sway bar issue should be addressed. Exhaust occasionally smells of fuel (no black smoke, must be running a bit rich though) but beyond those issues this car has been super reliable for the last few years. Super strong runner, and it looks great too.

Text from the CL ad
-NYS inspected last month (8/14)
-Cold A/C
-Seats 6
-Currently driven every day with no major issues
-4.3L V8 Engine, 4-speed Automatic Transmission
-New front brakes, wheel bearings, alignment done earlier this year
-Adult owned, well cared for
-Photos taken 9/14/14

Problems:
-It’s time for 4 new tires (Currently on full-size spare).
-It’s time for all 4 new shocks.
-Heater core clogged; heat doesn’t work well. Has been like this for a few years. The rest of the cooling system works great and has been flushed multiple times recently.
-Has significant rust underneath and in trunk area.
-Occasionally stumbles when sitting at a red light in very cold weather. Most likely due to a flaky knock sensor (inexpensive part to replace). Has never been a major issue.
-Front sway bar needs to be re-attached to frame on passenger side.
-A/C compressor makes noise occasionally. Has done this for years with no consequences.
-Tiny nick in windshield (has not grown, forgot about it until I noticed while cleaning)
-Part of both front interior door panels need to be re-attached (common for these to fall apart).
-Front passenger window switch missing
-Rear windows don’t stay on track when rolled down
-Speedometer display goes dim occasionally. This started a few weeks ago. No signs of any other electrical problems. On-board voltmeter reads consistent.

Price drop. Would love to get rid of this car.

Bubble Not a Donk…
But Solid car non the less.

AND OBD1 sweet easy inspections.

What engine does this have? You have 4.3L listed and V8, but it could only be one or the other.

Incorrect. They did make a 4.3L V8 for Caprices back then.

Is this what you use to cruise the town with Topanga?
