I was looking at some s13 motor blacktop n red top.Then I came arcoss a clean s13 blacktop with a ecu code J4.Any i’m told it a 97-98 type x.Can i use the s13 91-96 wire harness n ecu? or is the type x harness the same? Anyone have this motor n swap?

you cant run a type x engine with an e5 or 62 ecu…you would need the j4 ecu and harness
im sure wiring specialties could do it worst case
google search it theres lots of info on forums like nico and zilvia
