Well ok, not FREE technically. Looking for $1,500 firm but you could easily drive this for the winter and sell it for break even or damn near.
My 98 interceptor/crown vic is still up for grabs. $1500 firm. 135k miles. Nearly new snows on rear. Been reliable as hell for me and the prior 2 owners from NYSpeed as well. Quarter rust but no rot or horrible damage.
Lemme know if you want any other info. Pics tonight or early this week. For now see below for pics when Dannyboy owned it.
For what its worth, back when i had that '98 CV of yours i…Changed the oil/filter,seafoamed the intake twice(just to make sure it was good and cleaned out),replaced the spark plugs, cleaned and dielectric greased the coil pack boots, cleaned the MAF wire, and changed out the air filter.
Just giving a little maintenance history on it.
Here are the few pix i still have of the car,i did later slap a black grille on it off of a '99 P71.
Thanks again for the vote 9c1ny! I want this gone soon as at the moment it’s a liability I don’t need. Insurance on 2 cars for one thing is kind of a waste for me.
Title is clean ready to go fellers.
Buyer will be getting a new battery on my dime. Battery is spent finally…it looks pretty old. Starts fine with jump so it’s 100% just needing a battery.
Nobody looking for a snow beast yet? Snow will be here soon…be ready!
Just dropped battery in and shes back to crusing. I got the $100 “gold” battery from Advance Auto if anyone’s wondering. Same price for the car…battery is out of my pocket.
Help clear my driveway and help yourself have some winter transport!
It’s free if you use it over the winter and sell it barring any accident or trashing of the car. It’s a steal for $1500 IMO, especially with a new friggin battery and almost new rear snows. But I must be delusional since it hasn’t sold yet.
Time to post it on CL…bet it’s gone in a few weeks. LOL
PM replied. Anyone can see current pics above. Lemme know if there are any questions fellas, or to test drive her.
I should clarify if I didn’t already state this…
The only issue I’ve found in my use is the blower motor resistor is wacky and so the heater/ac only works full blast. That’s a cheap fix if someone even cares to bother. In the winter full blast is probably a good thing. Heat works great!
The worst of the rust is the passenger front outer fender as pictured. The rest is surface.

98’ P71 Vic with newer rear snows…cheap winter car!
Mods…can you change the title to show the above since I don’t want to piss anyone off with the free beater thing.
Don’t be tempted…just DOOOO it.
I don’t want to shovel around this thing come snow time. Hell I don’t want to shovel, better get my snows on the suby. HAHAH.
