So i have the old ABS/DSC lights and no speedometer, which i hear is common on these cars… Sent my abs module to bba-reman but they said that it’s fine.
Cruise control works so that means that the passenger rear abs sensor is fine. I swapped that one over to the drivers side rear(which i read controller the speedometer), but still no speedometer… Any ideas?
did you check fault codes (gt1)?
may be a vss in the trans
yeah code P0500 (Vehicle Speed Sensor A) From what I’m reading it seems the only two things it can be are the Abs module under the hood or the drivers side rear abs sensor… so now I’m scratching my head.
try a different abs module
what about the speed sensor that’s in the diff? I’m just guessing, but if that stopped the speedometer from working then maybe the ABS would refuse to work also.
