99 GSX: Clean Silver/Black leather E85/AEM EMS

Yeah.

Just testing the market right now, and it’s still a bit sore to talk about it, but I had something else fall into my hands…

So, of all the clean 2g’s I’ve had, this is my favorite. It’s not super fast, but I have relied on it every single day, rain, snow and heat and it’s come through… and drives amazing. It is the most pleasurable DSM I’ve owned. It’s not only “nice… for a DSM” it’s an all around NICE car. And I will miss it. A lot.

I am going to put a big price tag on it for now AS IS… e85 tune, AEM EMS, navigation, tokico’s, RPF1’s, black leather, shift kit… how she sits of $12,000. And I am negotiable to reasonable offers.

But if no one bites, we will be putting it back to stock and selling the car whole in running, stock-ish condition for about $6000, and selling the aftermarket parts off separate. (Which I think will be more to our advantage.)

I felt this would be my last 2g and so I kept METICULOUS records of it…

Very clean car and definately looks meticulously maintained but 12k is a pretty steep pice… going stock will probably be the only way to not get raped too badly. Either way bump for a nice car and GLWS.

Nice car, one of the cleanest 2g’s i have ever seen.

Even a stock 99 GSX(5-speed) with 50kish+ miles goes for 10k+ depending on condition. Plus the black leather was rare.

Auto isn’t that bad, you worry about less driveline shit breaking. This can be faster then a 5 spd, plus it has lots of potential.

I wouldn’t say they’re worth that much dude.

I picked my 1995 GSX auto up for $500 bucks with 130k on it and it’s actually in rock solid mechanical shape.(new timing belt, etc.) Obviously not as clean as this car, but does it make a $11,500 difference?

Just saying, probably going back to stock would be your only bet about getting this much money for the car.

That being said, it’s beautiful.

I’m just throwing it out there. I’ve seen stranger things happen, and I’m very attached to the car. I wanted to offer it up whole as is and see if anyone bites. It’s worth it to me, but I think it’s going to get parted out and back to stock.

It’s s little sad.

Clean ride. Why are you getting rid of it? Or better yet, what are you getting to replace it?

i’ve said this before too, these things are going to be in car shows when we’re older, you’ll find a cherry awd turbo dsm with like 40k original miles on it and you’ll have to pay like 40 grand for it lol
