So I just found out my car is certified pre-owned, and I have a warranty until March 09.
Fuck yes! Now I need to figure out what I can get covered…haha. That was totally not mentioned in the purchase…or the price for that matter.

that’ll be it for motor mods. i don’t care enough to have an exhaust (i like stock) and in terms of appearance that’s good enough.
Nice… maybe one day Ill bump up into an E46… in the mean time Im loving the E36. If those contours are real I may be interested in taking them off your ahnds if you unload them later down the road. I was debating on either contours or LTW’s… Im bored of my DS-II’s
are you SURE its CPO by BMW? in order to be BMW CPO it needs to have been bought @ a bmw dealer, not only that, but BMW stopped CPOing e46 m cars a while ago… so unless your car sat forever, i woudl assume that the “CPO” is probably through another company offering “extended” warranty coverage…
Or the person he bought the car from bought it from the dealer as a CPO car a while ago and the warranty transfers with the car.
At least that is how GM does it.

I am the second owner…I called a BMW dealer and had them run my VIN.
I’m good until March. Now if only I had something that needed to be fixed…ha
here’s what happened - I called roadside a few weeks ago asking them about towing me when I got it stuck in the driveway. They said I was good til March of 09 for anything…so I figured you know, that’s when a CPO would expire too…so I called the dealer and they also confirmed I have a CPO warranty.

If your the 2nd owner you would have a full CPO coverage… (ie bought the car @ the dealership etc)
you would need to be the 3rd owner to have some sort of residual CPO coverage. you probably just have the remainder of the factory warranty and the extended engine coverage
FYI: e46 M3’s have lifelong free roadside assistance for towing to BMW dealerships… they did this because of the lack of a spare… but be sure you have your tow hook on you at all times
I’m confused now. I knew about the no spare towing…but that is only to a dealership if your tire blows out…not if your dumbass swings it out of the driveway into 2 feet of snow…ha

Nice looking ride man. Honestly once you put an exhaust system on your car you will forget that you have a radio.
Mine came with a Dinan muffler. I was looking forward to hearing what it would sound like once i fabbed up a mid pipe for it (with no resonators) but doing a back flip over southwestern took care of that project for me.

if I really were to do anything i’d stick to stock and just get an OEM header with hiflow cat…however too much work and inspection sucks. it would add a nice tone though.

wish i could hear the dinan exhaust in person, only thing that gets me is it sounds like a honda from the video ive seen, and the whole one side working, instead of a true quad exhaust
My exhaust sounds great, headers , cat delete, ar20 resonator and borla muffler, without the ar20 it sounds like a f1 car at 8k
