Lets not forget that just because a small percent of someone with darker skin could have poor work ethic means all people with dark skin have a poor work ethic? LULZ where is the line drawn. Whites have unemployed people but they do not have bad work ethic? Or do they? I am not too up on my racist.
If you are serious about that comment, let it be known that teenagers go to school and thus not much time for work. I’m actually surprised the number isn’t higher.

My comment was right on par with “Jews are cheap people” or “The Polish are stupid people” or “The Irish are alcoholics” or “Italians are greasy”. Not %100 of Jews are cheap but a lot are. And I’m sure you could say these things and not get infractions for them.
Being born with dark skin does not make you want to work hard or not hard but statistically(I grabbed that chart from the US Census) they are the highest group of unemployed. I don’t know if they are raised that way or genetically born that way. I have no clue but numbers don’t lie and that fact stands.
Now, the argument comes in about African Americans not landing jobs because the interviewer is racist. I do believe this happens often but is it enough to keep a person from getting a job AT ALL? What about affirmative action? Do schools of higher education not allow a person to attend because of color? Would a hiring company take somebody because he/she is white, over a black man who is more qualified and has strong references from previous employers? We have a black man(Mulatto) in the highest position in the world. He could do it, so whats the big problem?
I don’t know why such comments towards Africans are considered racist and infraction worthy, but comments towards other groups of people are completely ok. Yes, African Americans were slaves to white people long ago. White Americans soon realized that how we were treating you was immoral and we fought a war for your freedom and my generation is certainly shameful about how our ancestors treated you. It is a touchy subject so I will conclude.
I have witnessed black people being blatantly racist towards whites dozens of time at work. “You give cracker over there all of the overtime because he’s white”. No I get it because I know this job as it is what I do everyday and youre not even in the same department. But this is ok? Why?
My views were not hammered into me at a young age by my parents. I have been in the presence of every type of race for my whole post high school life. I have worked along side them for a decade and I live right next to a few black families. I have black friends. Don’t assume I am racist just to have hate in my life (I wish I had none). I don’t mock them for being different than me. I don’t see a black man (is it ok to refer to African Americans as black people? I know people who don’t think so, but calling me a white guy is ok) sitting on the porch at 1pm holding a 40 of malt liquor and think “what a N***”. If I see a black man sitting on the porch at 1pm holding a 40 and dodging child support payments and selling drugs to people who have serious problems than yes, I do think that. If I see a white guy who is faking an injury so he doesn’t have to work, sending his kids to school dirty than I think “white trash”.
AFrank I don’t hate you. But if you are as described above than yes, I do hate you. On a side note I noticed you live in North Tonawanda and I am sure you have had your fair share of unprovoked racism. Please don’t think of me as you think about the NTPD.

you need to spend some time studying sociology. there are reasons for certain things, much deeper than surface “statistics.”
If you know these reason, I would love to hear them. I am all ears. It would make my day to join the Liberals in the way of thinking that everybody is equal in all aspects of life.

Again we are talking about the majority of these groups. Not to say that most Republicans are racist. But I know that most Democrats are not.

I would venture to say that MOST people are not racist. Unfortunately we have a small group of people in this country that for one reason or another(personal event, parental influence, or blaming for their own shortcomings to name a few) we still have this group. Over time it seems as education spreads and the world becomes more diverse in general these barriers seem to be breaking down.

Nobody will ever know how many people are racist. There are tons of closet racists and a whole range of racist intensity. And I agree with your last sentence.
Although i agree that there are closet racists I in no way shape or form think they are a majority. Heck we had enough non racists vote in a non caucasian president.
I would also say that racists are in the minority. But no way to tell for sure.
Would you consider me a racist? Maybe I am. But I don’t see a skin color and automatically assume things about that person.
In the original post, Obama stated that black people should take on more responsibility and get off of government programs. He also said that black parents raise their children to be sports and rap stars.
All black parents don’t raise their children that way. Is Obama racist for saying that? Would he get an infraction if he posted it here?
