-5 because your girlfriend still has a faster car then u
I gotta get to 1st bass soon that looks sweet as hell
the dam dot matrix is the whole reason as to why i havent gotten the windows tinted on the si i think it looks like ass over it
the matrix on the front is curing and it doesnt look bad.
im hoping the rear does the same thing, if it doesnt than i’ll just trim off the tint from the matrix and put a black peice of vinyl in the inside and it will all be A ok. (did that with my car and it looks fine)
my last car i did with dot matrix…well i painted over the dots
thats what i was always shown to do… has worked great on every car i tinted.
all you got to do is put a piece of vinyl over it. Looks fine just sometimes it takes sometimes it doesnt (with just tint).
i might think about this but i just dont want it to look like ass with that method
Now we seem to be having a problem with radio reception all of a sudden (it was fine the first 2 days we had tint)
I beleive the antenna is in the top middle of the windsheild where that dot matrix is correct? :dunno:
Well we have a 20% strip on the front windsheild… could that be the problem? if so is there any way to fix it?
you got a tinted banner??
:greddy:
ya
found out that the antenna is in the rear window. but the tint is non cunductive judging by johnsons window films.com… so i :dunno:
this is odd…
we seem to have perfect reception when the rear defroster is off, but as soon as it’s turned on it becomes fuzzy…
:dunno: i may just buy an antenna booster and get her XM since its “XM ready”
wow, never heard of that one before.
what film does he use? PM me and chat
Johnsons, but i will call to confirm, sorry i found this so late, i will PM you
ya theres many types of johnsons films for automotive, just ask which one it is and if its non-conductive…
and ask him about the defroster and reception puzzle lol
i am definatly going to ask him,
weve never had any problems before so im real curious, cause if this is a result of the tint i want to make sure it never happens again, and replace the tint thats on there so the fm reception is normal again.
if this is our fault than i am truely sorry and we’ll get it right.
and if its not ill still do research and try to figure out what happened.
Over 200 cars tinted at my place since i opened and I have never heard of 1 (except yours) that did this, and yours is the 3rd new civic that we tinted. I called the other 2 guys and they said theres is fine, and they never had any problems.
maybe after the tint fully cures to the window it will be alright again, :dunno:
ya i :dunno: its not a big problem but just search around and see what you can fine
chaz, i have seen a few impalas over the years that radio goes fuzzy with defroster on. problem always was a broken defroster line. it would short out the antenna since they are both in the back window. maybe same problem with honda? maybe putting tint on could have broke a line?
