about the nissan s15 vehicle speed sensor

I putted a S15 engine in the a 89 s13…then anything work ok .but I just cannot see the speed of my car…
after I saw the service manual…I have some things that I would like to ask…
1: is that two different speed sensor with s15? one is the vehicle speed sensor which install in the transmission. and the 2rd speed sensor is in the raer LSD which send the speed signal the the ecu?
if I put it as a map then is will be look like this:

 "the speed sigal from the vehicle speed sensor to 2rd speed sensor then to the ecu"

2: is that is the right.....where I can find a vehicle speed sensor?

is that all the vehicle speed sensor for s15 and s14 is the same ???

    thank you for youe help........................

You don’t have to keep on making new topics.

but from the fsm it says, “The combination meter provides a voltage signal to the ABS control unit for the speedometer…
The speedometer converts the voltage into the vehicle speed displayed.”

and the page before that, “Speedometer, odo/trip meter, tachometer… are controlled totally by unified meter control unit built-in combination meter.”

Any idea what the combination meter is?? do you have it?? and do you have the ABS control unit??

Which ecu are you using? which cluster? does your tach work?

I don’t see anything in the fsm about there being 2 speed sensors.

Make sure you read these two threads.
