eh, I wouldn’t worry about it honestly.
they’re pretty durable… just be careful with it. Mine has taken a few falls and all is good so far. Someone on modmyifone.com got in a fight with his wife and threw her iphone out the window of a moving car.
Realizing what he did, he turned around and while it was pretty fucked up, it worked fine.
It’s really not too expensive. I think $60-70 for three years (with on of the coupon codes mentioned) and the warranty is transferable.
