ADR wheels any good

Hahahaha

I consider the source of comments. This doesn’t phase me.

Hahahha!!

Ohh shit! Low blow there, haha…

…awaiting Dr. 2’s rebuttle…

I as well as a few others did read what you wrote and you sound like the retarded one. You also dont know anything about ADR wheels since they are retailed all over the place. How would you know they are on the heavy side if you dont even know how and where they are sold?

You must have bought your radar on ebay then since it sucks.

Me either… jeezus

Umm… he wasnt the one making the dumb comments here.

I know they are on the heavy side because thats what everyone says about them. 20lbs for 17" is kinda heavy.

I guess so.

I brought something to the thread along with some drama which I know you assholes love. His comment brought nothing.

P.S. I only take wheel advice from those who do not put red wheels on their car.

stop now

20 lbs on a 17 isnt light by any means, but its not heavy. you said it yourself that you are not familar with the brand… so stop talking about it. you are bashing a product you are unfamilar with. you are not bringing anything to this thread but drama.

stop.

boosted3g (tom) has adr’s on his eclipse, very nice rims, especialy for the money

lol … that makes perfect sense. especially considering Im one of the most knowelgeable here on the subject.

enough.

i will not say it again.

couple of the SHO guys have them, haven’t heard any ill tidings. not bad looking wheels either.

Ha!! What makes you think I am an UN-educated consumer?

I will never “know all to well” about buying junk off EBay because
with every EBay transaction I make, I make sure to be EDUCATED
as to what I am purchasing.

So you comment becomes null and void, because I am NOT one of
those people that created the “shit” on this board you speak of.

A few of the guys on the Audi forums I’m on run ADR wheels… I have never heard any bad things about them…

What are you looking for in a wheel? Light? Durable? Cheap? Stylish? IMO it fits all of these, except you could find lighter if thats what you’re really looking for.

I had them on my 300zx that is now Woody’s. The rims were decent, the chrome process was not as good as on other wheels, but for the price, the look, the function, I was very very pleased with the price…the styling…weight wasnt a big issue but they werent horrible. They are a cheaper wheel company, but like mentioned before…they have been around for quite a while. I had no problem with mine and I would buy again if the opportunity came up.

I need to step up to 13" rotors so I will need them to clear the brakes. Weight and durability are important but so is price. They seem like a good compromise to me. :gotme:

ADR are decent, good looking economical rim, i have had a couple of sets. the only problem i ever had was one splitting in half like a bagel when i hit a bad pothole. so unless u wanna spend lots of cash for rims that u will probably damage with typicle buffalo roads…i recommend buying adr rims

Potholes shouldn;t be much of an issue anyways. They’ll be mostly track rims anyway.

look into the rs-limited line, thats what i have. they were under $1k for 18’’- mounted, balance, including lugs shipped to my house. @victoriatire.com

The set of 17x7 ADR Ikaris I had were around 21-23lbs each. OTOH, the ADR Concept Pros (copies of the Rota SubZero, which is a copy of the Racing Hart CP-035) were ~18lbs each, and cost only about $450 for the set. They had a good finish on them and were very noticibly lighter than either of the other 17x7s I was using on the car.

Actually, both of my wheels were labelled as RS Limited. And fuck Victoria Tire with a Flintstone-style wiffle ball bat. Never ever ever buy from them. Or if you do, hope that you don’t have to get a refund or exchange, because their customer service is utter shite.

I have your RS Limited Wheels now.

I like them.
