I see a ton of ADR wheels for sale on e-bay and such. I’m not farmiliar with them. Are the any good? I cant imagine they’d be the bom :pimp: cause they’r enot that expensive.

I picked up my ADR wheels off eBay for HELLLLA cheap. UPS had them weighed at 15lbs a piece for 17X7’s, which is pretty decent. I love the finish, it seems pretty durable too, they seem like good quality wheels for me so far. They’ve got a website, seems legit.
I dunno, I’m extremely happy with mine, I picked them up for almost nothing and I’m very pleased.
I really can’t argue with the:
-weight
-price
-looks
-durability
-finish quality
-and they seem well manufactured
just my .02

Actually, I haven’t heard anything horrible about them. But I wouldn’t trust them.

Generally, parts that are sold almost exclusively via Ebay are complete garbage. Like I said, that may not be the case with ADR wheels. Again, I have not heard anything really bad about them. But as a general rule, I stay away from parts that are Ebay exclusives.
Also, ADR’s tend to be on the heavy side. If that matters to you or not I don’t know.
ADR = Golden apple if I remember correctly, they make a bunch of wheels for a variety of brand names.
I had a set on my Turbo II
Never bent and were not super heavy, only problem I ever had was clear coat on the lip peeled off in a couple places. Decent starter wheel if you can find something that looks halfway decent. I would also look into rotas if your looking for a good cost concious wheel imho. :tup:

Ebay has the same quality merchandise you can find at any retail outlet. You can find Volk, Weds, Rays, Asanti, BBS, OZ, SSR… some of the best wheels in the business.
i have a set of ADR rims on my taurus ron…(actually the same ones as the picture that was posted). do you need bigger rims to clear brakes or just because.
I’ve had two sets of ADR wheels for the Sentra, and both seemed to be good quality. No complaints.
i have a set on my talon. i basically traded my konigs for them and couldnt be happier.
Yeah, my previous white 18’s that were on the Celica were ADR Mase Limited wheels, and I bought them because the price vs. performance ratio was very good. My 18x7.5’s were 19.5 lbs apiece, which isn’t bad at all for 18’s. THe only problem with them was when I ran over the Grand Canyon on Genesee, the lip was bent slightly. For the County claim, I went and measured the Grand Canyon, and it measured 19.5" wide, 14.8" long, and 15.3" deep. Quite a pothole, er, Grand Canyon.

I’ve not owned a set but I know a bunch who have without complaints. Typically ADR usually sets the trends for wheels and gets their designs copied by everyone.

Holy shit I am convinced you people are retarded. Read what I wrote above. Name brand stuff is fine. I bought my Mustang through ebay and it was the best purchase I ever made. But there are people who sell lots of knock off shit on ebay and its crap. ADR doesn’t show up on the my radar as a trusted wheel company like the ones you mentioned. They may be fine, but I wouldn’t buy them myself. Wow I can’t believe I have to keep coming back to this to set people straight. WTF!!!
