does anybody else have american education services as student loans?
they have been an absolute nightmare since day 1 of college… they call me and my cosigner to notify me that a payment is due… i have never been late with payments or missed any… they call me three to 4 times a day and when i answer its just white noise… they call and tell my cosigner that they should “get on me” about paying my bill on time…
are their any laws or guidelines they have to follow for debt collection?
they are a huge pita, i have them myself and it took talking to a couple managers so that I dont get calls, I pay extra every month and they are still crazy

I have AES and I have auto-deduct. My payment /month is only $90, but I’ve had zero problems… Actually easier to deal with than my Sallie Mae
well i also have nel-net and they have been great since day one. they even let me skip december last year without fees to help through christmas!
Wife has AES, and they blow but not nearly as bad as Sallie Mae, they are the worst! I have mine through nelnet and they have been awesome for me. Although my interest rate sucks, but then again that’s just student loans in general.
Mine used to be with citibank, super easy to deal with, no issues at all. Sallie Mae bought all the loans from them, I was pissed. I haven’t had any issues yet but I’m sure something will come up. They always find some way to fuck you over. My interest rate is locked at 4.25%, cant wait to pay them off to get rid of them.
I have Sallie mae and Chase for mine. Never had problems with either and both are auto-deduct. No calls, occasional emails, pay everything on time.
LOL @ myselves. I mean I know it’s the internet, but wtf is myselves.
My wife’s loans were part of that citi sally Mae bs. We got a call that they were late before they were due and she freaked out and paid them off. Student loans are the worst.

i have nelnet, AES and federal consolidation and ive never had an issue with any of them…
i have AES and i don’t think i have ever received a single call from them.
