AI can interpret MRI scans and generate images based on what the person is thinking/looking at.
Because nothing could ever go wrong teaching an AI how to literally read our thoughts…

We’re in the “do we want nuclear war or AI absolutely ruining human existence” stages of civilization and honestly I have no idea which one is the lesser of the two evils.

It doesn’t. I’ve been messing around with AI chat for a good two weeks now, it’s cool for some stuff but it’s still very limited in generating unique ideas. It just is a super Alexa

Yep. If you hover over them you can see what was input to make the AI generate the picture too.
