Ok guys, as usual I’m posting to try and generate some LOCAL interest in this event This year AKA Rally is going from Savannah Georgia to Monterey California. The dates for the trip are July 31st - August 7th. I can’t even begin to describe how awesome this event is every year, and it constantly gets better. Basically, I’ve made a ton of lifelong friends who I regularly hang out with in a variety of cities across the US, who have shared some of the craziest and most incredible stories of my life. The AKA Rally has a variety of events we’ve enjoyed in the past such as a private day on a prepped course at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Private Go Kart rentals, VIP parties, Full Access to ALMS and F1 races, White Water Rafting, Track Days, and a host of other exclusive events.
I’m sure some of you have heard me come back raving about some of the insanity that takes place. A few NYSpeed’rs have gone in the past and I think ultradriver and deathproof have put down deposits to go this year as well, I think Onyx and Haenszel may be trying to join us this year too.

4 people have gone on sport bikes. Ducati, 600RR, R1/R6. We’re a friendly group and always help carry extra fuel, and the luggage of the guys on bikes.
You’re insane if you’re thinking about it, but it’s totally doable
If you go over to revmat.ch and post about it I’m sure Justin will respond about taking his Ducati last year.
Not in the cards this year, but I would love to entertain an idea like this when the time is right. I just don’t know how my lower back would feel about it:roflpicard:
aprox how much did it run in tickets? do you still have points on your license as a result? when if people got arrested did they meet up at the next place or are you out?
looks like a ton of fun but i drive for a living and cant risk loosing my license…
Points do not transfer to NY, except from Ontario and Quebec. Tickets out west are CHEAP. We got pulled once for 88 in a 55 in Montana, $48 dollar ticket on the spot, and my 94 in a 55 in CO was $118 :lol: The only place out west that’s expensive ticket wise is CA, where I’ll be watching my speed… hopefully.
I’ve only seen 3 people get arrested for on road activities they were not booted out. AKA doesn’t condone speeding, but shrug.
Two people have been booted out in the past 5 events I’ve done, and they had to do with stupidity in a hotel.
