Stupid or not, that riot just save SUNY a good amount of money. My guess is once it is gone it will be gone forever; now they are going to use that excuse every year to kill fountain day.
In addition, that riot just cost a lot of money for local business if they decided to combine spring break with St. Patricks starting next year.
