First thing i’m going to ask is the same thing i’ve asked in several of your threads…how did you ever make decisions on your own before joining NYSpeed?
2nd…you asked our collective opinion about getting a Cobra…we all said DO IT…and you DIDN’T…THEN, you asked if you should sell the Cobalt since somebody APPARENTLY offered you $16K for it…and again, we all said DO IT…take the money and run, but now you’re looking to modify the car/buy rims for it, rather than sell it.
Why do you waste your time and ours with these threads, other than for obvious attention, if you’re just going to ignore the advice you receive anyway?
cause i did recv a offer for $16000. i never heard back from the guy until like a day or 2 ago and said he could only offer me $15000. so thats why i didnt sell it.
i called a few different dealerships about trading my car in and the payments were coming out to high thats why i didnt go with the cobra thats all.
and 3rd lol. my buddy has a ss/tc that he’s done work to and he took me for a ride in it and i feel back in love with the car!
so thats why i am asking for peoples opioins. i have black rims on the car now and im getting sick of the rims, im gonna buy new ones and they come in black and also white. thats why i am asking for peoples thoughts

Negitive. I have an obsession with doing things properly. If your going to do it, do it with a decent set of wheels, with decent fitment, AKA get coilovers. If not do your self a favor and leave it alone. Do not do red wheels, just because it came from the factory riced the fuck out, doesn’t mean you need to enhance the fail. I really dont like these cars, however I like the people who modify them even less, It really wouldn’t be a bad thing to see one done properly for once. Or god forbid not modified at all. :roll2:

I say you go with red wheels, it would honestly look badass, and its not a difficult color to keep clean like white wheels would be. Black is definitely overplayed IMO
White wheels are the gayest trend since drag queens. They make the wheels look like cheap korean plastic. On top of that, black on black looks good 97.5% of the time. Also acceptable: black on gunmetal, black on gold and black on bronze.
