Altenator on the Z finaly died

Well after last nights shrink wrapping incident on the way home the altenator finaly died on my Z

For the past couple months it sits as 12volts when you start the car untill you rev the car up to 4 grand then it would charge at the normal 14.5 volts untill you shut the car off

Anyone around here have a shop or know someone with a lift that wouldent mind letting me use it? Im strapped for cash, and i would prefer not to do it in my garage on jackstands because…

  1. My garage is low on space since my bro brought his snowmobile over for storage

  2. Its hard to do anythign under that car with barely an inch of space between you and the car

Oh plus did i mention the fuckin altenator on this car is anything but easy?

got my s14 alternator u can have, i dunno if its the same. i;d try it.

No its not, I remember looking at it when I took it off your block, the mounting points are differant along with the pulley

I figured someone around here would have a shop/lift they wouldent mind someone using for a few hours?

Ahh well

if you saw this altenator youd understand… looks like I gotta use scissor jacks ::slight_smile:
