flat bench is a whole different animal. If you aren’t used to it then you’ll be disappointed. I only ever do flat bench when the gf is around to spot me.

Whats funny for me is that I was putting up the 65’s a couple months ago, and then was only on the 70’s for like 2 weeks. Did 75x8 Monday…once I get them 10x then it’s time for the 80’s.

i do remember though going to the 100’s and it feeling like a fucking ton!! but at best, the highest we have is 115 and they are easy peasy lemon squeezy

everyone is different. If someone rarely does barbell bench then it will NOT be easier.
what?! I only need a little extra help on the last rep or two so I don’t drop it on my chest. No need for some one of equal or greater strength. She probably only needs to exert under 10 lbs of force to help get that last one or two reps up.
