Am i wrong here?

Why?

They don’t have guns in Canada.

are you french canadian then? it would make more sense if you were!

I don’t think it’s fear, it’s just a misunderstanding of why Americans have guns and are allowed to own them as a “right” in the first place.

Most people see guns as a source of violence and death, which they very well can be. But the simple answer to why Americans have guns is that the founders of our country viewed “arms” as a check against tyranny and oppression. The argument can be made that this is an out-dated view and that we’d never have to worry about the kind of governmental tyranny and oppression as they did, but the fact that we have this “right” certainly makes it less likely.

Basic high school American history.

I mean to say it as “There is an inherent fear in firearms bred mostly by ignorance, media, and government.”

wasn’t trying to say canadian media is ignorant.

I agree it’s a misunderstanding. Main stream media as painted weapons for the most part as evil. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.

Not wrong at all.

I think my wife started shooting at 4 or 5 years old.

I started at about 9.

A gun is a tool, a very powerful tool that must be respected, not feared.

nah, still don’t agree… but i also don’t care so…

block pistol… bew bew bew

sounds like nothing but harmless fun.
