Tried to take pic of sky with 60 second exposure on tripod. Comments? Is this any good? Anything I can change to improve shot?
Looks pretty cool, but I have no idea how to do the 60 sec exposure stuff.
I’ll be honest, when saw the title I was expecting something different entirely.
oops, that was not noticed when I posted.
Yep, definitely was expecting to have a NWS photo without a NWS in the title.
what a fucking letdown
Not to shabby,
Its always better if there is more clouds, etc in the sky though
x2
damn it
Here’s one from tonight that I got of the big dipper.
Still blurry, do I need to reduce shutter time?
That picture is MUCH better than the first … I like how it caught some light off of the fence/tree. How long was this exposure?
I had no idea they made tripods for cameraphones.
All shots taken from a Panasonic Lumix LZ5. It unfortunately doesn’t have a tremendous range of features, but it has some “canned” modes. One is called “Starry Sky”. That’s what I’m trying to use.
I think I may need some better equipment for this.
I’m assuming you’re resizing the pictures before posting them? Let’s see some high-res shots.
I will do that later tonight.
Nice pics Justin, although the lack of boobies is discomforting…otherwise carry on…
Here’s the untouched pic.
Look good. See if you can get a lower ISO setting without losing any visibility. It’ll sharpen the image up a bunch.
