But how the heck do you change those oil filters (picture # 15) without making a terrible mess?
Also, why would they put crap-ass fram filters on a car that nice?

that is unreal. such an awesome job on that car

Unbelievable. A work of art.

was all that work worth it on the celica…

amazing work none the less

all that amazing work… put into a celica? an ugly one at that.

I beg to differ. Plus that fully restored Quattro coupe. Those guys are artist. I wonder how much labor was put into that. Surely had value to somebody to bring that thing back from the dead. By the looks of the pics it sat in a mud pit for 20 yrs…

wow .

PIMP

Thats a damn good question :dunno:

that is super impressive, I wish I had the capability to do that level of restoration. Great find!!

some nice ass cars listed there…good find indeed!

Those are the OEM filters as equipped from the factory. Shops like that sweat every minute detail when it comes to those restorations. They will have at least one guy dedicated to doing research on each car’s history so the restoration is accurate.

Changing the oil filters isn’t too messy-- just unscrew them a little to let the oil drain back into the housing and a rag will catch the rest.

wow those dudes are sick. i want that audi quattro rally car in pic 274.

awesome find.

my GTO restoration is a basic cosmetic upgrade compared to that.

Nice work, i serously thought they were going to re-depoly that to race i was like WTF.

best way to do that is to take a screwdriver and punch a hole in the top. if you unscrew it oil will leak everywhere. its the same way in my RX-7(note stock engine when i get the car)
