AMS is hands down one of the best dsm shops in the country, with or without their rediculous evo builds…
a lot of the other big names are just major hype…
i saw what a semi-local person who paid them 35K got.
and needless to say, i was astonshed at the crap that was fucked up.
:shrug: Maybe he did the install himself or maybe he went to a shop with all the parts and said: “throw this together.” Anyone can fuck up a good thing… I don’t know the specifics and I’m not even really interested in defending AMS, but I’ll just say…
it’s not the exception that proves the rule.

Not everything always goes perfectly smoothly when you are building a completly different car than what came in…AMS is about the only other shop I would ever recommend if they can’t come to HC.
What a piece of crap.
Beck…AMS took that car back and they’re repairing it so there is no need to bash them.
Congrats to AMS on their new best! The AMS/Buschur power struggle is fun to watch. At this point I’m more impressed by the Buschur car because it has been vastly more consistant, but their best time are both right at 8.9
