i dd a 96 l36 swapped gp with a soon to be m90 blower, my wife has a 95 l36 turbo’d gp and my summer toy when it stays together is a 00 monte ss wih a few goodies under the hood and grill
I am a ase certified tech and also a first class mecp installer. I run an automotive shop out in elma (just me). willing to help when i can with fixing or building. also big into custom fiberglass and audio/video//

Yea the wife drive a turbo’d one too… Lol, Shes not as hard on trannys as I am i guess… (but shes only running 6lbs boost and maybe 300hp maybe that… but what does she need it for( just did it to say i did) she likes it, and it piss’s people off when they try to pass and she walks past them. But my monte is quicker… and my dd gp will be (hopefully) once the blower gets its new home on the block…
The monte is a nasty build… 3.8L custom heads, Diamond 8:0:1 pistons, Bal shaft removed, double roller, custom turbo cam, elec waterpump, alk injection, intercooled, pt71 turbo. 65lbhr injectors, walbro pump, balanced block, there is a lot more into her but dont have the time to go through the list… On engine dyno car ran at 26psi, on street it runs at 13-15 on track 22psi. best of a 10.91 @126mph. but car needs tranny work, keep breaking the chains… Best dyno run has been 523hp 648lbs tq (5600rpm)
Derrick~ I figured it out after the fact… I will be by there tomorrow. tis the season for remote starts…lol… gotta pick your brain about an 06 trailblazer also. starts fine the first time, but if it miss’s it sets the security off the second start… strange…
Studderin(Johnny I have pics, just dont know how to post. i can send you them if you would like. ) I am on the monte board but dont chat much on it as i am a grandprix guy for the most part… the monte was just one of those umm i built it so lets buy it ordeals… now i hate it…as far as the w-body one, nope not yet,. I might get there eventually… as far as the 65 being big, I was out flowing the 42.5’s and sorta had no choice but to upgrade or watch another motor go out the door( 3rd rebuild on the block) this one is staying this time, taken 26psi on a engine dyno, I wont run it that high. we tore it back down after that run and replaced the head gaskets just to be safe. and checked everything else, all checked ok.
