Hi, I bought a tig welder (http://www.mylincolnelectric.com/Catalog/equipmentdatasheet.aspx?p=39579).
I did a full exhust on a 2g talon(awd) it came out very nice!!!, so I will be making s13 exhust systems (full or cat back) and also intercooler piping ( NO need to remove your battery to install the piping). If anybody is looking, let me know. Thanks
Will you make it to customer specs or just generic exhausts? Will you make hangers too?
Does the car need to be left in your possession through the process, or is it our choice. This is a great service though if you do custom pieces.

Well I could do Custome stuff, but it will cost more. What I am doing is copying my exhust, intercooler piping and my top mount turbo manifold ( long runners) .
Yes will come with hangers.
Still practicing on aluminum.lol.

shrugs welds are ok. Hard to tell for sure from the blurry pics, but they don’t look amazing from what I can see… But really, in the end it’s all about penetration, doesn’t have to look like a million dollars if it’s strong…
…It’s aaaallllwwayyys about penetration 
If anything, from what I could see, they look a bit pitted, maybe running a bit too hot for the material you’re welding, or not enough filler rod.

Yep still learning that was my 3rd tried, I did a full exhust on a awd talan came out nice, but I did not take pick.
The intercooler piping that I can do on the S13 does not require you to relocate your battery.
And yes I am still doing bodywork. more pix coming soon.
keep at it your lookin good. just rember if you can try not to stop after you have started. its hard to make it look uniform if you have to stop…
