any Ford guys using EEC Editor? also need mustang links

any of you guys using this? hows it working for you?

what ford eec are you working with?

4,5, what?

none. yet

just getting opinions

i have been looking at eec tuner and all the other ish that similar.
my focus i guess is the 87-93 mustang

So, EEC IV

Top of my head:
TwEECer is popular, but is limited (8 bit, IIRC). No shell, just a dozen tables to manually correlate
EEC Tuner is “growing”, though Ive never seen it 1st hand. Heard more, better things about it versus Tweecer.

In the end, for a few dollars more, You can go Megaquirt II with: V3.0 PCB, a Ford EEC IV case & adaptor (look & plug in JUST like stock). MSII = far better processor & resolution. If You’re afraid to solder it, ask Fastncheap to do it (?)

I’ll try to dig up Me notes when I get home.

yeah I agree, tweecer is the thing for those old eec’s…

The SCT editor is the mack daddy for eecV.

^ :word:

alright.

now that we have that out of the way. i need quality links for 87-93 mustangs… i need to know all about engine options and swaps.

i’ve been on turbomustangs.com, but i need more

turboford.net :sheesh:

hey, john, I gotta complete 2.3 turbo motor swap for you.

I have used it in the past and it works good for being free

Become an SCT dealer FTW.

go to tweecer.com and you can download the software for free and poke around with it so you can get a feal for it. the SHO guys absolutly love it. aparently its popularity is growing among the mustang crowd too so I hear. tweecer is constantly being updated FYI.

thanks for the help guys.

i’ve been getting alsorts of pms, and talking to some other locals… you ford guys are almost as nice as vw guys. frankly, its a little :gay3:

or maybe all the non honda guys are cool, and im just used to how bad they sucked.

get used to it, ford guys love the circle jerk.

usually the guys with the most calous’d hands are the ones to listen to.
