hey, this might sound rediculous… but…

I’m trying to get a price quote to get a car towed from far far away from me,

well like a 2 hr drive, from fort eric to scarborough
does anyone know any good towing companys and their numbers so I can get a price quote or something?

You might be better off renting a flatbed. Just look in the phone book. There are a lot of big towing companies.

rent a tow dolly from Uhaul and get a friend with a truck to pull it back. Alot easier, cheaper and you don’t have to sit next to a stranger for 2 hours

that’s a good idea, but non of my friends have a hooking system on a truck :expressionless:

just rent a truck from Uhaul too – they have them. You could probably even pull it with one of their Econovans

oh shit, I did this, join CAA, $120 premium membership, 4 tows up to 200km per year, buy gas at sunoco/petro, 2nd year pays for itself. but there’s a 72 hour waiting period. a 200km tow coud be $300-$400 easy…your welcome.

get me an address and i’ll get you a price.

it will be flat rate no matter where you go, just shop around.

tow dolly is like $20, renting a truck or van is like $20-$30 or something like that plus any other fees they might have.

that’d be your best bet probably.

Yeah but there’s KM’s on top of the cheap van or truck rental fee’s usually, ins and tax so it does add up. Make sure you check all that.

Now if your stuck call my buddy John. He works for Pete’s Towing in Scarborough and most likely will do it. His number is 416-731-6946. There is also my buddy Ed and he works for Undertow also in Scarborough and his number is 416-277-9151.

Just tell them I (Bruce) told you to call.

Take care man.
