Anybody happen to have an 02A differential handy and could grab me a few quick measurements? I need the overall length, case outer diameter, ring gear flange diameter, and ring gear bolt pattern.

And I was under the impression that o2as were used in all of the mk3 2.slos

Yeah, they had then even bigger bag of shit 020 transmissions, like every other water cooled VW since the mid 70’s… until '99, and even later in the MK3.5 cabrio’s… GO VW!
I think I still have an 020 at my parents house that is stuck in 3rd gear, and one with a giant hole in the diff case.
