Carly’s Crossing is a unique open water swim event–now in its fourth year–to raise funds for pediatric cancer research and patient programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Joe Zwierzchowski, a family friend of Carly, and lifelong swimmer, conceived of Carly’s Crossing in 2003, as a tribute to her. It has raised over $200,000 in its first three years.

yeah, you raise $$ for a good reason ( i do a bunch of stuff like this a year ) we could race but open water swimming is fun…you “bump” into a bunch of ladies… let me know if you would like to do it.

Maybe a NYSPEED banner on our backs?
