Alright NYSpeeders, I’m calling on your help to support my cause in the Ride for Roswell this year. Last week, I ran in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in memory of my good friend’s mother (You may have seen a news segment on it, Bald for Boobies). Next week, I’ll be partaking in the Ride for Roswell for the first time with another good friend of mine, who also ran with me in the Komen Race.

We will be riding in honor of his mother, who currently battles lung cancer. She was diagnosed just over a few years ago, and has had a pretty tough battle with several chemo/radiation treatments. I need to raise a minimum of $150 for the ride, so if you have anything, and I mean ANYTHING, to offer, please donate to my page below:

I’ll be there also. If there are enough people we should start a nyspeed team next year. Krant are you riding your bike there and back also?

You’re now over your goal so go have some fun and be safe. My Dad beat prostate cancer this year and thank God it was fairly quick and easy with no side effects. I couldn’t even try to imagine what others must go through fighting this horrible disease.

Just had a security guard/student at my work get diagnosed again with cancer. She had breast cancer before and tumors removed from her head. Now she is on a morphine drip :frowning: .

Glad your dad is ok. My grandmother beat breast cancer as well.
