Any way to convert the formatting of a word doc to html?

I have a word doc that i want to display on a web page, but if i just copy and paste i lose all formating (text size, superscripts, bold italic, etc)

It has to be free, though.

Are you trying to host the document on a site? just host it as a .doc and let people load microsoft word

when they click it it will show the typical Save target as or run as… go from there… ORRRRR convert it hahaha

Can’t you save as html ???

hrm
maybe i could save as html and then view source.

yea dummy… save it as .htm

god.
you suck.

i tried it to make sure… worked like a charm… god you’re so dumb sometimes

save as… .html/.htm
drag it into IE… view source… copy paste…

word does a TERRIBLE job converting to html… not suggested

Truth. They load the page with a shit ton of styles and code that have nothing to do with the page that you are creating. Your best bet is to just recreate the page using dreamweaver.

You can import a .Doc or Excel file into Dreamweaver and preserve formatting.

How-to in CS3

Why not just do it in frontpage or dreamweaver? The design views are pretty basic. Its like word for html.
