Hyperlink question - help!!!

Is there some way to globally delete all the hyperlinks in a Word document? I know you can right click on a hyperlink to remove, but it would take hours to get rid of them all one at a time.

If you have an answer to this you’ll be my hero for the week, which qualifies you for hero of the month.

go to word, hit ctrl+a that will select all the text hit ctrl+x to cut all the text

open up text pad and hit ctrl+v

now you will have rid of all the hyperlinks, so do the reverse and paste it back into word. you may have to turn off Automatic Hyperlinks, to do that follow these steps

1 On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab.
2 Under Replace as you type, select or clear the Internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box.

It still keeps them when you paste it back in. The AutoFormat must only be for new stuff you type, not stuff you paste.

Did you mean WordPad or Notepad to paste into? I assumed Wordpad.

I just changed the Hyperlink style to black text with no underline. The link is still there, but it doesn’t look like it is. Screw it, close enough.

notepad, wordpad would keep the formatting
